Workshops

The workshops can accommodate up to 30 children and are led by community archaeologist Pippa Rochford with the support of a minimum of two teaching staff.

The workshops are aimed at KS2 (7 – 11 years) however they can be adapted to suit younger learners. The workshops have links to the KS2 History Curriculum in some or all of the following areas: Chronological understanding 1a, b, Knowledge and understanding events, people and changes in the past: 2a, b, c, d, Historical interpretation: 3, Historical en-quiry: 4a, b, Organisation and communication: 5a, b, c, Breadth of Study: 6, Local History study: 7, British History: 8a, b. They also have links to Literacy, ICT, Geography and Art.


Booking

Kidz Archaeology have been working closely with the Heritage Lottery funded Watershed Landscape Project since 2010. For a limited period Kidz Archaeology, with the support of the Watershed Landscape Project, are able to offer half price workshops until April 2013.
